To quote DH: "Budweiser in the making."This is a field of barley. It is very close to being ready to harvest. Since barley hops are used to brew beer, he's not all that far off in his statement.
We pass this field nearly every day on our way to and from town. This year it is going to be ready much earlier than it usually would be, because we have had a hot, dry spring.
